Election 2022: Faulkner County Candidates

Filing for the 2022 Election is complete, and here are your candidates for Faulkner County elected offices.

Biggest surprise? Two incumbents did not file for re-election:

* JP John Pickett (D, Dist. 11), in office for several years, currently serving as chairman of the Budget & Finance Committee, and

* JP Randy Higgins (R, Dist. 2), in office since 2011 and currently chairman of the Courts & Public Safety Committee. In addition, Higgins has played a major role as “liaison” between animal activists and Faulkner County government and currently serves with the Association of Arkansas Counties as president of the Arkansas Association of Quorum Courts.
